A Photographer

by Thoithoi O’Cottage

Pebbles have lived with time
Tossed by the ebb and flow
Of the seashore waves –
A clip that plays eternally.

Photographers have found gloomy graves
On the soft sands for ages and ages
With no valid snapshot of waters and pebbles.

Today, lapped by watery tongues
Touched by the stone’s chill
A waxy photographer with his camera
Flows into the sea –
The pebble community has gained
New members.
